I am the author of the "The Little Book of Sham".

I've enjoyed writing residencies at both the Tyrone Guthrie Centre and the Heinrich Boll Cottage on Achill island.

I have worked as a fast food cook, a barman, a shop assistant, a labourer, a doorman and even managed a distribution centre for women's underwear.

More recently I was Deputy Mayor of the Town of Westport 2009-2010.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Media Management and Production and a Higher Diploma in Print Journalism.

I've won writing competitions with my short film scripts, one of which was chosen by Steven E DeSouza (writer Die Hard) for development in his web series "Unknown Sender".

In 1999 I played a Canadian policeman in Roger Coreman's "Stray Bullet!" which was filmed in Galway. I got to fire a gun and injure my knees for £20 a day for two days.

More recently I played Builder No 1 in Series 3 of "The Hardy Bucks". It was great fun. And it paid better than "Stray Bullet".

My feature film script "The Homecoming" was a semi finalist of the 2014 Screen Goldmine Awards.

I am working on a number of film scripts and a comedy show pilot.

I work as a Librarian and served as a Town Councillor for 10 years up until May 2014.

I will write for money...........or food.

Ask me about my screenplay!
